MP2 Quirks

Like any software system, the Datastream implementation of MP2 Designer has its quirks. The Infor Help Desk will probably only assist if you are on the latest build and patch.

Adding a new field to the Inventory table works well and you will see your new field in the Inventory list display, but now try and place that new field on the User tab and the fun starts. In all probability, the Inventory panel will become unusable and you will be thinking of a restore from backup to get out of the situation.

Your immediate error situation can be solved very easily, but making use of the new field is not quite so easy.
